Me? Non-Aggression Pact?

I do not care for non-aggression pacts. Historically, they have generally been non-effective and mostly ignored by the aggressive, but whatever helps folks to sleep at night, really. In light of recent events, I took Mr Quan with me to Steelhead to get to the bottom of a few things. The elf, Mr Eclipse, regarded my minion rather suspiciously--asking him if they had met before. In addition to Miss Hilra's presence, there was a most intriguing kitty with the unfortunate name of Dogg Food, to whom I have promised much catnip and many mouseheads as he can be of use. I have published excerpts from my transciption as I do not trust the elf to report it fairly...
We first discussed the matter of their canine sheriff's recent "attack":

Malegatto Alter: Oh, I certainly would not have missed my mark. What a waste of silver bullets.
TotalLunar Eclipse: Well it could have also been a warning to the lycan instead of a missed shot.
Malegatto Alter: I was thinking that, but why squander the chance? I've never understood "warnings." Why would I wish to "warn" you first?

We also discussed my bar of silver that I received in Steeltopia:
TotalLunar Eclipse: What is the silver now?
Malegatto Alter: The silver? Oh. In my gun? One can never be too careful. Canines about, you know
Tensai Hilra: O.O
Malegatto Alter: Well now, you didn't think I'd come somewhere with a lycan sheriff and not have protection do you?

I then produced my pact. Let's just say that Mr Quan, Mr Food and I understood it quite well...Feline being our diplomatic language and all:

I did find a bit of a like mind in the genius that is Miss Hilra:

Malegatto Alter: They do not understand geniuses like us, Miss Hilra
Tensai Hilra: quite
Malegatto Alter: I expect to come home to the Lab being burned to the ground at any time. Is it my fault that they have no vision?
Cato Quan: They will learn to bow to your glory and genius, Doctor! How you will chortle then, dispensing justice as they cower!!!
Tensai Hilra: yes... people and their torches
Malegatto Alter: Idiots!
TotalLunar Eclipse: I thought that was a rather healthy looking mob last time dear.
Malegatto Alter: Oh dear, you had a mob?
TotalLunar Eclipse: They came for butter.

They did mention a storage place for the silver they had asked the residents to turn in, which excited Mr Quan very much:

Cato Quan: Seems to me...we can help ya out by taking that silver off your hands, away from the reach of your would-be assassin. Off-site storage...
Tensai Hilra: I think the silver is quite well secured
TotalLunar Eclipse: Although that's a kind gesture it remains safe where we have it categorized and stored.
Malegatto Alter: For now
Cato Quan: Where's that, now? Got a Landmark?
Tensai Hilra: yea, 25, 32, 200000000

For now, as much as I would like to have destroyed an edifice or two or three, I have agreed not to attack Steelhead or its citizens for the duration of the lycan's investigation. Pfft! At least that is what they think. Feline is so open to interpretation. That is the beauty of the language. Ha!

This dam is so very tempting...

An Attempted Elf-napping...

Mr Quan is a resourceful dedicated minion, if anything. His antics often leave me utterly speechless. I heard rumor of his most recent misadventure and upon further investigation, I received a report that he ventured into Steelhead dressed as a certain holiday popular figure and attempted to kidnap Steelhead's manager, the moon elf Mr TotalLunar Eclipse. The Baron Wulfenbach was present, who no doubt would probably have sent his clanks, Jaegers and more wielding the latest in Spark technology to retrieve Mr Eclipse. Why Miss Thunders was lacking the rest of her clothing I could not even begin to speculate and I do believe I prefer not to...

*sighs*

I shall not chastise him today. He is a bold one, that feline...

Ooo...A Visitor!

DrBob Margulies stopped by for a brief visit. I dropped him through the trap door...

"Oops?"

The Great Cavorite-Smasher Experiment

When I chose my location so close to the mine, it was for quite a singular purpose: to be able to procure raw materials for my cavorite-smasher. It is its own self-contained energy source, and what keeps the electrical equipment running on the parcel. Oh good, Mr Quan put a fresh supply in the bin and bolted it down again. Hmm...I need to tweak the pipe from the water tower--just in case...As Mr Quan could tell you, making sure the cavorite-smasher's levels are normal is highly important, as is checking the transformer's as well. Ha, no need to be alarmed by all of the green lights coming from the Lab last night! The situation was quickly brought under control...

I Just Might Keep Him Around...

Sat down with Mr Quan today to discuss his qualifications. He can build, was trained in the Way of the War-Kitty, is rather quick-witted and seems to share my glee for inventing and mayhem. I told him that if he doublecrosses me I will drop him into the deepest depths on the Grid...While giving Mr Quan a tour of the premises, including the cavorite-smasher and its energy core, Dr Fourwzy asked for a favor. Mr Quan donned his metal claws just in case I needed protection, but he just needed a photo in front of the Sanitorium, which Mr Quan took ("I had him in mouselook ready to attack so it was easy!" he said). When he offered compensation, my clever ass't requested a formal notice of apology to me for my unnecessary "stay" as a political prisoner of sorts. Dr Fourwzy hastily wrote it out and gave it to me...It is as follows, straight from Old Fourwzy's hand:

To whom it may concern:

As the proprieter of the Tamrannoch Sanitorium it is my duty to inform you the reader that the bearer of this card, one Malegatto Alter, was held briefly in my facility due entirely to a cultural misunderstanding with a powerful Caledonian magistrate whom I will refrain from naming.

She was found to be no less sane than any other Caledonian, and released into her own custody forthwith.

It should be further noted that here at the Caledon Asylum, our goal to serve and treat the island nation's aproximately 17 thousand criminally insane residents, by its very nature is forced to cast a rather wide net, we occasionally wind up holding for observation one or two of the country's 3 or 4 hundred sane people.

Thank you for your indulgence.
Dr Fourway Forwzy

I'll overlook the fact that I was not released, but escaped from, that infernal place, but for now I have called a temporary truce and removed the device I had installed there just before the Uprising. Now how's that for a productive first day on the job? I just might keep him around indeed...

Supply Shopping

I am adjusting my basket as I do a bit of shopping at Mr Kukulcan's shop. What? Even steampunk supervillains need workshop supplies!

I suppose I could've sent a minion, but the last time I did they became nosy and an item got the best of their curiosity and well...let's just say they didn't make it back...

Megalomaniacal Rants? MOI?

I was rather distressed at having to miss the gathering of my mad scientist and evil genius colleagues in SteamSkyCity this past weekend, but Mr. Volare informed me that I seemed to have won for "Best Manifesto/Rant." I would not say that I "rant". If it seems disturbing or overly long to the other party present, then I suppose that is their perception of what I see as my rather politely discussing my concerns and such. For those of you who have not read my supposed award-winning "rant" for yourself, I have published it in its entirety here:

"I am Dr Malegatto Alter, evil genius supervillain mastermind.

Caledon is a lovely nation. It would be even lovelier if its citizens trembled in fear every time they heard my name. I will take the credit for starting the Great Tamrannoch Asylum Uprising a few months ago as I needed to hurry up and return to my workshop. I did not expect Scary Robbie to go on such a violent rampage. It's amazing what a motivator carrots can be to an oversized pink rabbit.

As for my recent "Minion Incident"? No comment. All that I shall say is that it is hard to find a good minion nowadays. Aspiring to "henchman" status can get an overambitious one in a lot of trouble. I repeat, a LOT of trouble. If you know any good potential minions, do send one my way. I am always looking...

As for my inventions? Do expect to see more in the near future.

As for my plans? Pfft! Like I'd expound upon them here! Do I look crazy to you? No, do not answer that.

I am not called "Evil Tiny Kitty" for nothing!"

A Meeting of Like Minds

I finally had a chance to meet the delightfully evil Zabrina McMahon. She told me that do-gooder Zoe Connolly was her twin. How unfortunate for her...Zabrina, that is. We thought we'd visit the Gallery of Unappreciated Genius on the South corridor of SteamSkyCity...Ah, there I am...between that Hax chap and a Doctor Mason. I have heard about the good doctor before. Ah, and Mr. Volare counts himself among us as well? Hmm...
Zabrina and I discussed many things, including carving up Caledon for ourselves, minion recruitment, being "misunderstood" and other general nefarious thoughts that only another evil genius would have. I will admit to a bit of distraction. Come here, little mousie...
I decided to do a random hub hop and ended up in Regency where I stopped by a gallery, my breath arrested. There was a portrait of a most handsome kitty gent. *sighs dreamily* Look how he is holding the bird...he isn't even trying to eat it or anything!

A Creation A Villain Would Love

I believe Obolensky has since moved his lair (smart move--keep them guessing). I hope the world will not be deprived of creations such as this one...although I do hope he at least hides his plans for them this time!

Tanglewood and A Meeting of Genius

I have been laying a bit low due to a mishap involving a silly, incompetent imbecile of a henchman, but decided to finally venture out again. I visited Caledon Tanglewood today and found this turkey with glowing eyes. I liked it very much...perhaps it and its brethren can be of use to me...I came upon the fabled tiny village and found it rather empty despite its lovely library...
Hmm...I now know how to gain easy access to impenetrable places!
I have forgiven but not forgotten the milk carton incident and finally got a chance to meet my charming evil colleague Mr Denver Hax. We chuckled about our plans for world domination and how a good minion is so hard to find. I look forward to getting together with him and Dr Obolensky soon...

The Guvnah's Mansion

Ah, I do love the words "Master Plan"...

*blows a kitty kiss to the Guvnah--a man whose plans for world domination seem to rival her own*

Hmm...Another Colleague?

While exploring Caledon today, I came upon the establishment of one Dr. Obolensky in the sim of Stormhold. "Infernal Devices and General Villainy" indeed sir!Although I question his making his plans so readily available to the world, I believe he could be a useful colleague indeed...

What the Deuce?!

That blasted Mr Hax! Did the asylum tell him? Grr...I shall rain much vengeance upon his person for this...

One Should Be Alright...

I seem to have discovered a tinies lounge created by fellow evil genius Mr Denver Hax in the Caledon sim of Steam Sky City, where I had a delightful whiskey sour. Only one though as I must stay sharp...

A Greetings...of Sorts...

I am Dr. Malegatto Alter...tiny kitty mastermind as "evil" genius is such a harsh term--although it makes me smile with much glee.

O ye residents of the 19th c. sims, you do not know...you do not know....

Escape from Tamrannoch Sanitorium

I had to get out of that place actually. I started a riot while out in the airing court, which landed me in a bit of padded solitary. That was fine as I was free from interruptions to plan my daring escape...The nurse came to check on me and prep me for the electro-quack treatment of the day and I bit her. Put a poultice on that you witch--with your water and porridges! I'm a cat! Bring me mackerel! I darted through her legs and made a run down the hall!
I convinced Scary Robbie that there were carrots in it for him, the pink fool. Although he did create a rather bloody distraction for me!
I do hope you did not think you could actually keep me in here Dr. Forwzy! HA!
A leap here and there and out into the sweet freedom of Caledon I went!
