Parcel Rights for Sale to the Caledon Lab--SOLD

**SOLD. Thank you for your interest!**

I have given it much thought and have decided to sell the rental rights to my lab in Caledon Tamrannoch.

It is a 1024 parcel, single prim supporting 234 prims. You would continue to pay rent to Desmond Shang at 375L/wk (1500L/month). I originally paid 10K for it a year and a half ago, but I will ask for only 2000L or best offer.

It is somewhat close to the hub and the Sanitorium is behind you, in case things get a little crazy. Do feel free to contact me if you are interested. It is located here if you would like to take a look:

Mason Labs Destroyed...FINALLY

There...is...a...BOLT...stuck...in...my...warehouse!!! The Elf came over and and we both looked upwards at the large piece sticking out of my smokestack. "That is...massive," he said. "That is one big nut." I must have inherited some of my father's love of crass humor as I could not help but laugh despite the fact that we were standing among rubble. He offered to remove it for me, as it is supposedly "active", but I said to leave it. I am a feline of science and this is a lab and warehouse--not an "oh-so-delightfully pretty" Victorian house...
The last time I saw Mason Labs, it was still intact. I had made a pact with them not to destroy it (or let my minions burn it to the ground) although sorely tempted to do so on many an occasion...
Last night I found it in ruins, the building's remnants smoldering......and its parts strewn across Steelhead Port Harbor from the force of the explosion...The Elf had told me that only the so-called "Jeremiah" had been injured. If he is a Mason as he claims, then he should be fine. Those Masons are quite a resilient lot. I had also inquired as to the canines in Miss Davies' Dog Park across from it. When told that they were fine despite the pieces in their midst, I could only say "Pity." When I went over to see for myself, some ran over to greet me. EW. I feel so dirty now.

New Product Release: Mad Scientist Trash Bin

The refuse from those experiments has to go somewhere. In a solid metal bin. I'm sure other mad scientists and evil geniuses will agree. And don't worry...I have my own contractor who comes to take it away. In the meantime, it is filled with all sorts of miscellaneous things that I have created--some with full perms to be used in your own experiments, some not. If you peer inside, there is a glass coil, an Ehrlenmeyer flask, a radioactive glowing orb, a barrel, a crate of rubber gloves, a large cog, and a can of Krazy Kat Kibble. It comes with the empty bin and a display version with everything inside.

On An Angry Mob's Good Side For Once

Usually angry mobs mean a problem or botched experiment gone awry...whatever was I thinking when I agreed to go to a dance surrounded by pitchforks and torches the other night? And a purple demon stepped on my tail. As it still hurts a bit, I am going to try not to scratch him next time that I see him. Yes, I know...he's a demon. That won't do much good to him, but it'll make me feel good!

'Twas a bit of an enjoyable diversion though. Some seem to think I should get out more. That perhaps all of those fumes, chemicals and sparking wires are not altogether good for me. They should be more concerned about what is good for them, not me! I am an evil genius and criminal mastermind! I am supposed to be busy in my lab inventing things and plotting and scheming and lurking in the shadows! Anyway...I have some business that I need to handle soon. Something that I must go to a hidden place to retrieve--I mean, deal--with.

Sim Managers in a Jar...Cloning Gone Wrong for FREE

I have been putting my failed experiments in jars. The Elf, with his copious mane, made it easy enough to find a strand to use for my genetic experiments as God knows, strands of white hair are everywhere in Steelhead. As part of the Grand Tour of Steelhead, I have set out "Lunar in a Jar". When one touches it, it says four different sayings of his. You may pick it up for free--yes FREE--at my warehouse shop in Steelhead Port Harbor on the pier...And remember the other week when I took a swipe at Caledon's Guvnah Desmond Shang? You can have your very own "Guvnah in a Jar" as well! Like The Elf's, it says four different sayings of his upon being touched, my favorite being "Did someone say 'catgirl'?" You may find Guvnah Shang's jar at my lab in Caledon Tamrannoch...

BonkerZ Tours Steelhead

My lab assistant BonkerZ arrived bright and early at the warehouse for work, where I briefed her on Steelhead and some of its citizens. I thought we might pick up where we left off on our tour and see the rest of Steelhead...
While in the City, we stopped by the Town Hall. We both eyed the jury with interest. "Lobotomized"? Doesn't make a difference to us on a plate...We then walked over to the jail to pay Willard the Rat a visit so that I could introduce the two of them. I did tell BonkerZ that he was not to be eaten, although we reminded him it "could" happen. Willard started to tell me one of his longwinded tales, but I had to interrupt him. Otherwise, we would never be able to finish our tour...Speaking of rats, I got BonkerZ situated at the lab in Caledon, where she proceeded to bother Chuckles. He was not amused and swore revenge someday...Hm...I heard that Doctor Mason got a new lab assistant all of a sudden. What, sir? Keeping up with the Alters? *chuckles*

An Even Bigger Problem...

Oh...dear...God...

I took a short trip to Babbage and upon my return found that the mutated squiddy thing mutated yet again...Once I determined that it would not eat me (good) or my neighbors (a pity), I was able to focus on other matters. In the spirit of the autumn season, I have set out a few pumpkins. If anything, I hope they will distract folks from the huge tentacle-y thing that seems to like being in my front yard...

Squiddy & Biomech Things in a Barrel

Mr Quan had brought me some dinner--fresh squid he caught during his recent whaling run. A piece fell into a barrel of chemicals I had nearby and well...I had to grab a stick and beat it back a bit...
Just when I thought it had been subdued, let us just say that it "mutated" a bit. This time it took a lead pipe to beat it back down. It seems my latest experiments have gone a bit awry...or did they?I suppose they would make intriguing pets of a sort, if you have your stick nearby, so I offer to you...
And its counterpart...

Ooo...A Visitor!

DrBob Margulies stopped by for a brief visit. I dropped him through the trap door...

"Oops?"

An Invitation to Evil

Dr Darien Mason stopped through the Lab tonight. It was so nice to finally meet him in person as we have corresponded via our aethernet journals for quite some time now. We talked rather nonstop, about the evils of the world, the state of mad and evil geniuses here in Caledon and in other 19th c. sims, and of personal evils. He seems rather conflicted to me. He gleefully loves the vices and perks that go with being bad, but is unwilling to embrace it. Liberate yourself Doctor...revel in it and you'll be free. Ah, you humans and your "issues"...Later, Mr Quan stopped by in his rather strikingly dashing neko form *mews*. He suggested that we test the smasher's possibility to fuel a time portal and make an excursion into the past. Ah, I think that kitty should be promoted to "assistant/bodyguard" as "henchman/minion" doesn't seem quite fitting...

The Great Cavorite-Smasher Experiment

When I chose my location so close to the mine, it was for quite a singular purpose: to be able to procure raw materials for my cavorite-smasher. It is its own self-contained energy source, and what keeps the electrical equipment running on the parcel. Oh good, Mr Quan put a fresh supply in the bin and bolted it down again. Hmm...I need to tweak the pipe from the water tower--just in case...As Mr Quan could tell you, making sure the cavorite-smasher's levels are normal is highly important, as is checking the transformer's as well. Ha, no need to be alarmed by all of the green lights coming from the Lab last night! The situation was quickly brought under control...

Daftness Abounds Amidst a Lack of Manners

Last night I found my archenemy, Miss Zoe Connolly, snooping about the premises. Instead of feeding her to Chuckles the basement rat, we ended up having quite a conversation for a while. And during said conversation, she got to be my witness to the utter pawpalming "egads" moments two of my neighbors subjected me to.

My mad scientist's laboratory is confined to my parcel, which also means if you are on it--on my parcel...not Tamrannoch in general, you will hear the rat squeaking and the electrical devices going. The sound is restricted to my parcel. So, to have Neighbor #1 come into my property and complain about the sound even after explaining who and what I was about was rather insulting. She was even shouting across the sim at one point, much to my utter chagrin. Then again, this is the same one who challenged me when I first arrived...my God...

Miss Connolly and I then looked at one another again when another neighbor arrived and promptly began to kvetch about edge-to-edge buildings, shops and just about everything else in Tam. I keep a high wall as in keeping with my occupation. I do not have a front gate as visitors are free to take a look. Do not make me rethink that policy...

The second neighbor did apologize to me, but I was rather taken aback actually. It is rather a shame when even one's archenemy is defending you and commiserating in the fact that your neighbors are rather...unusual. If I am home, I do not mind talking to you. I might be known for some nefarious doings, but even I do not treat my neighbors and fellow Caledonians in the manner in which I was treated. I'd never go to someone else's place and speak to them as they did to me. I might be an evil tiny kitty, but at least I am polite about it.

Mr Quan arrived and offered us both some tea to calm our nerves. In light of her having to endure the rudeness tonight, I told him not to poison Miss Connolly...this time.

I Just Might Keep Him Around...

Sat down with Mr Quan today to discuss his qualifications. He can build, was trained in the Way of the War-Kitty, is rather quick-witted and seems to share my glee for inventing and mayhem. I told him that if he doublecrosses me I will drop him into the deepest depths on the Grid...While giving Mr Quan a tour of the premises, including the cavorite-smasher and its energy core, Dr Fourwzy asked for a favor. Mr Quan donned his metal claws just in case I needed protection, but he just needed a photo in front of the Sanitorium, which Mr Quan took ("I had him in mouselook ready to attack so it was easy!" he said). When he offered compensation, my clever ass't requested a formal notice of apology to me for my unnecessary "stay" as a political prisoner of sorts. Dr Fourwzy hastily wrote it out and gave it to me...It is as follows, straight from Old Fourwzy's hand:

To whom it may concern:

As the proprieter of the Tamrannoch Sanitorium it is my duty to inform you the reader that the bearer of this card, one Malegatto Alter, was held briefly in my facility due entirely to a cultural misunderstanding with a powerful Caledonian magistrate whom I will refrain from naming.

She was found to be no less sane than any other Caledonian, and released into her own custody forthwith.

It should be further noted that here at the Caledon Asylum, our goal to serve and treat the island nation's aproximately 17 thousand criminally insane residents, by its very nature is forced to cast a rather wide net, we occasionally wind up holding for observation one or two of the country's 3 or 4 hundred sane people.

Thank you for your indulgence.
Dr Fourway Forwzy

I'll overlook the fact that I was not released, but escaped from, that infernal place, but for now I have called a temporary truce and removed the device I had installed there just before the Uprising. Now how's that for a productive first day on the job? I just might keep him around indeed...

Finally...You May Tremble in Fear Now

I saw a chance to have a parcel in Caledon Tamrannoch. I met the Guvnah to finalize everything in my neko form. I heard that catgirls make him rather...giddy. It is a wonderful plot, near the rail tracks and hub, with the cavorite mines in view. Those are its pros... The con is being directly across from the Sanitorium. I saw Dr Fourwzy for the first time since my "stay" there. I believe he is the one that needs to be committed as he is a rather gratingly perky soul. How could I have forgotten that? As I see it, he is keeping an eye on me and I am definitely keeping an eye on him...
I am in the construction process, but I feel my build is going rather well. Finally, I have a Caledon lab! You may all tremble in fear now...
