I had forgotten about Chester and calmly stopped chewing on him. I spat him out and held him up delicately with my claws by the end of his tail. "Wellhellotheresir! HowareyouI'mChesterandyouare... Ohwowyouliveinajail?Isitfun?Doyoumeetprisoners?Doyouwanttoescape? Oooooo...cheese!"
Willard stopped dead in his tracks and stared long and hard at both of us...
"On second thought," he said. "Keep on doin' what you were doin'..."
The refuse from those experiments has to go somewhere. In a solid metal bin. I'm sure other mad scientists and evil geniuses will agree. And don't worry...I have my own contractor who comes to take it away. In the meantime, it is filled with all sorts of miscellaneous things that I have created--some with full perms to be used in your own experiments, some not. If you peer inside, there is a glass coil, an Ehrlenmeyer flask, a radioactive glowing orb, a barrel, a crate of rubber gloves, a large cog, and a can of Krazy Kat Kibble. It comes with the empty bin and a display version with everything inside.
I missed my weekly visit with Willard last week due to that minor mishap with the electrical line, so I thought I'd stop by. The usual threats were exchanged, the cheese was set out and all and I think I fell asleep somewhere around "...And I told those two cats, you know--Buttons and Dribbles--that rats love to gnaw things..." All I heard was more "blahblahblah" and fell asleep. I woke up to his laughing--which sounds like a high-pitched squeaky wheeze--and his saying something about his rat humor being too much for me.
The sky was a lovely shade of blue and it was easy to pick out shapes in the clouds: knives, beakers, severed feet and whatnot. I even saw someone flying by in their air vehicle...
I shall have to remember not to touch that particular power line again. I suppose the twitching will stop soon...perhaps...
Only to realize that the squiddy things are multiplying...
And remember the other week when I took a swipe at Caledon's Guvnah Desmond Shang? You can have your very own "Guvnah in a Jar" as well! Like The Elf's, it says four different sayings of his upon being touched, my favorite being "Did someone say 'catgirl'?" You may find Guvnah Shang's jar at my lab in Caledon Tamrannoch...
Everything felt warm for a few moments as I lay on the roof of the warehouse. I pulled out my hairpins, my hair falling freely for once. I ran a tongue along my longer fangs and then it hit...
I jumped down gracefully from the roof, landing on the pier below. I laughed at the utter ease of it. Everything was a blur as I ran through the town at a pace that exhilarated me. I was faster and stronger--words can not truly describe the feeling of running on pure instinct. My thoughts then started to come by in flashes...rushed, angry, more incoherent. I paused at some places...
Thinking both "No", "Yes" and "Next time" as my senses tried to overtake me...
I heard something the Sheriff told me in my mind like a far-off echo, about "will power" and "controlling the beast". I knew then that I had to get to the warehouse. I do not remember the rest of the evening. Awaking with the dawn, I got up from where I had curled up in a ball on the floor and groggily made my way outside. As I surveyed the scattered pieces of my poor tock lobster, it seems that I made it back indeed.
Yes, I have a mother and was not spawned or anything contrary to popular belief...
You know that character in Jane Austen novels? The one who is silly and naive--an innocent who is ever-so-slightly daft? Well, that is my twin sister Prudence ("Muffy") in a nutshell.
You may hear me extolling the virtues of the Steelhead community HERE at the beginning of the SL Under the Radar podcast. Quite funny...I didn't think my voice was that...high. Do not worry, he slows it down to "normal" after the intro so you can truly hear what I am saying. HA!
I do not know of this "Dr. Who", but I do know that Miss Hilra and the gargoyle, Mr Glineux, seem to delight in his TARDIS temporal machine creations...and reducing them to bits it seems...
